The property is owned by the Sharma’s, who themselves were enchanted by the beauty of Manali, originally based in Mumbai but belonging to the valley of the gods, they started the hotel in the early 1990’s, keeping in mind the needs and sensibilities of city dwellers at the same time staying true to the kath-kuni style of design which is a peculiar to the kullu valley.
